History, Truth, and Solidarity is a community-led documentary created by Black Zebra Productions and Asians for Black Lives Sacramento. This documentary explores the history of Anti-Asian racism in the city of Sacramento, Anti-Blackness among Asian communities, and Black and Asian solidarity. Through a compilation of interviews, storytelling, and a montage of photos and captions, community organizers and members share their lived experiences. This film highlights how Black and Asian people have a shared struggle, how Anti-Blackness manifests in Asian communities and addresses the importance of why/how we must build solidarity together for collective liberation.
