NOT YOUR EROTIC

A Filipino-American woman tries to find love, but instead faces sexualization and fetishization due to the color of her skin. In the form of a spoken word performance, this narrative short film addresses the hyper-sexualization of women of color caused by society’s unrealistic beauty standards, which leads to detrimental mental health outcomes for AAPI women and other women of color.
